Spotlight on Societies: North Toronto Stamp Club

NTSC at CAPEX 22

The North Toronto Stamp Club was founded in 1938, and is one of the largest and most active stamp clubs in the Toronto area.  We are Royal Philatelic Society of Canada Chapter #5 and American Philatelic Society Chapter #1610.  The Chapter offers a regular program of meetings with presentations, auctions, bourses and social gatherings.  Of course, at most meetings our members and guests may add to their collections through the Club circuit books, 10₵ books, and by pursuing the stock of one or more dealers.  Meetings take place on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of most months at Yorkminster Park Baptist Church, 1585 Yonge Street, Toronto   We also host a large annual Exhibition, and during the pandemic the Club held 2 virtual shows with exhibits from members and friends throughout Canada, the United States and Europe.

The NTSC has been recognized internationally for our efforts in promoting philately over the past two years, and we are honored that Michael Cortese of NobleSpirit and Charles Epting of H.R. Harmer, the hosts of “Conversations with Philatelists”, have agreed to speak at our society gathering on Saturday at 10:00 a.m.  Graham Beck of “Exploring Stamps” and “#Philately”, will give a presentation on “Adventures of an Xtreme Philatelist” at 11:00 a.m.

All interested philatelists are invited to join with our members at our Society session on Saturday morning at CAPEX 22 to hear the speakers and share in the comradeship of our common hobby.
