The American Association of Philatelic Exhibitors (AAPE) developed the team competition more that 20 years ago as an added dimension to the development of one frame exhibiting. Since its inception the team competition has been popular among exhibitors. CAPEX 22 is pleased to collaborate with AAPE to bring the first international team competition to CAPEX 22.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Team Competition Regulations<\/h4>\n\n\n

A Team shall consist of five (5) individuals. These individuals may share membership in a stamp club, a philatelic society or fraternity, or join together solely for this competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 An individual may be part of more than one team (a maximum of two). An individual may enter only one exhibit for each team that he\/she is a part.\u00b7 A team entry consists of five (5) exhibits. Each exhibit must be the bona fide property of one and only one team member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 A bonus of 2.5 points will be awarded to each team (maximum of 10 points) which has exhibitors from multiple countries. If Team A has 3 exhibitors from Canada and 2 from USA then they will be awarded 2.5 bonus points. If Team B has exhibitors from 5 different countries then will be awarded 10 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 A bonus of 5 points is earned by exhibits for winning a \u201cSpecial\u201d award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 A bonus of 10 points is earned by exhibits for winning a \u201cBest in Class\u201d award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 A bonus of 20 points is earned by exhibits for winning a \u201cGrand Prix\u201d award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 The team score is the total of the scores of its five entries plus any bonus points earned. The team with the highest aggregate score will be the winner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Ties will be broken by 1) the number of Large Gold awards, 2) the number of Gold awards, 3) the number of Large Vermeil awards, 4) the number of Vermeil awards, 5) the number of Large Silver awards, and 6) the number of Silver awards and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Each member of the winning team will receive an award. (Other awards may also be available to the Team competition.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 There is no additional fee for participating in the Team competition at Capex22<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

Teams must register with the Team competition coordinator by providing a list of the team members & their exhibit titles.
